For most common construction work, including the following, a building inspection is required:
Rough-in plumbing
Electrical
Mechanical
Vents and waterlines
Framing: electrical, mechanical and rough-in plumbing (combination)
Final inspection
The schedule to request inspections is as follows:
Morning: Inspections need to be requested between 12 noon the previous day and 6:59 a.m. the same morning
Afternoon: Inspections need to be requested between 7 a.m. and 12 noon the same day
Re-inspection fees must be paid prior to requesting a re-inspection. Each failed inspection will require a new inspection fee of $40.
