Hoboken NJ:What should I do if I find a stray pet or have feral cats or nuisance wildlife in my yard?

The City of Hoboken contracts with the Liberty Humane Society in Jersey City for our Animal Control services. If you have found a stray pet and have it contained, call the Health Department at 201-420-2375. We will contact Liberty Humane to dispatch an Animal Control Officer to pick up the animal (only if it is contained). After hours and weekends, call the Hoboken Police Department (201-420-2100), who will contact Liberty Humane.
