Evanston IL:When is roller skating offered? What skates are allowed?

Roller skating is offered to Evanston residents only at various City of Evanston community centers. A monthly schedule is posted at community centers and online click here. 
Note: youth who reside in ZIP code 60203 are considered Evanston residents for this program. Adults must reside in ZIP codes 60201 and 60202.

Roller skates may be rented at the community center during the skating session as supplies last. Residents may bring their own helmet and pads. Participants may bring their own roller skates as long as they are compatible with the floor surface. No inline skates are allowed and staff will have to evaluate your roller skates to determine if they will be allowed or not.
