Evanston IL:When are Christmas trees picked up?

Christmas trees are picked up from the parkways for 5 weeks following Christmas. Pickups are made on the same day of the week as the home owner's regularly-scheduled refuse and recycling pick up.
Trees must be free of lights and decorations and may NOT be placed in bags. Trees will not be picked up from alleys or private property.
For special Christmas tree pick-ups for multi-unit dwellings or in business districts, call the Forestry department to make arrangements.
