The hearing officer will read the citation into the record and if everything is there that is required to be there per ordinance a hearing is held. The hearing officer will ask for you to provide your side of the story and present any evidence that would support your statement. Evidence can sometimes take the form of photographs, statements, receipts, flyers,\ etc.
