Evanston IL:How many people can live in an apartment?

The number is determined by a combination of factors including the square footage of each habitable space and the floor plan. Every bedroom occupied by one (1) person shall contain at least 70 square feet of floor area and every bedroom occupied by more than one (1) person shall contain at least 50 square feet of floor area for each occupant thereof. In addition, unless a dwelling is a licensed lodging establishment, it cannot be occupied by more then three (3) unrelated persons.
