The City offers residents a cost sharing "50/50 Sidewalk and Curb Replacement Program" to replace sidewalk in disrepair. Any private property in the City of Evanston, residential or business, is eligible for the program. Typically, through early May, City engineers accept applications for spring sidewalk repairs. Another opportunity to participate in the program is offered in late summer. Contact the 311 Center between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday, to be placed on the list.
