Evanston IL:How do I get a bonfire permit?

There are two areas where bonfires are permitted: the Cement Fire Ring at the Lake front and the Norris University Center.
The Cement Fire Ring can be reserved by anyone, resident or non-resident.
The Norris Center Fire Ring can be reserved only by Northwestern students and faculty.
Please visit the City's website to learn about rules and fees and to make an online application for a permit. Fees, steps, acceptable identification, etc. are detailed on the site.
