The jet display program begins at 7:00 am and ends at 11:00 pm with jet display settings changing every 15 minutes. Outside of these hours, the fountain operates as a reflecting pool.

During these hours, the fountain may not be on due to:

1.  Wind sensors detecting high high winds which will cause the jet program to be overridden.  When that happens, the jets will go down in height in order to keep water from blowing wildly all over passersby.

2.  During the daily inspection, testing and cleaning of Fountain Square to make sure that the water is healthy and safe and that the fountain is clean from debris so that the pumps do not clog for continuous enjoyment throughout the day.

3.  Due to mechanical issues.
